Tuesday TV Throwback

I’m going to pretty much guarantee that no one remembers this show, but this is the pilot episode for what would soon be everyone’s favorite Saturday morning show.  Good Morning Miss Bliss is the early beginnings of Saved By The Bell. The pilot takes place in Indiana and has Brian Austin Green and Steve Erkel in it. Kind of wierd.

The second clip is the actual first episode of Good Morning Miss Bliss, which stars Zack, Screech, Lisa, Mikey(fake AC Slater), Nikki (Fake Jessie), Miss Bliss and Mister Belding. The episode also has Carla Gugino (Vinnie Chase’s hot female agent from season 4 of Entourage). I think Miss Bliss only lasted one season and then we were blessed with multiple seasons of Kelly Kapowski. Enjoy the 80’s goodness.

I’ve always said that if I ever played professional baseball that I would come to bat to super random entrance music. The Fact of Life theme song would definitely be one of the main songs in my entrance music rotation.

“I should want to send him a fan letter telling him how good he was in the episode where he teaches everyone how to cook, but I shouldn’t want to type the letter on a death certificate.”

This show was originally called Valerie but after the first season they decided to kill the mom off and replace her with Sandy Duncan and thus we have Jason Bateman’s catapult into fame, the Hogan Family.

Since I am going to Chicago this weekend and this just happens to be the best sitcom to ever take place in the windy city, I figured it was fitting. Now we are so happy we do the dance of joy.

Today’s TV Throwback is Charles in Charge.

Thank God the family from season 1 moved out and left the door open for Nicole Eggert to move on in. I’m putting it out there, Scott Baio is the man.

California Dreams, the second best T-NBC Saturday morning show. (Hang Time starring Anthony Anderson is obviously number 1)

Thank goodness the writers from Growing Pains decided to move Coach Lubbock cross country to California. Ah, the singing Lubbock Sisters, how I love thee.
